Initially, the 442 insignia indicated that the vehicle was equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, a four-speed transmission, and dual exhaust, but industry demands quickly forced Oldsmobile to offer an automatic transmission as an additional performance option. Basil Classics was fortunate to purchase an entire collection of 442s from a single owner, and this 442 was among them. At first glance, the quality of the restoration is immediately apparent: the Peruvian silver paint and body panels appear as new, and the black pin-striped hood is the perfect accent to hold your attention.
