The Basil family is very pleased to present for sale the final and most desirable production year for the famous Buick Grand national. This vehicle began its life being sold at Patriot Buick in Williamsburg Virginia. This vehicle had then remained with the original owners for the last 38 years until being sold to us. This car was always very well maintained and cared for. At one point the owner realized the turbos were getting hard to come by so a new turbo was purchased and set in the trunk in case of failure on the original. This shows how the car was always cared for with the intention of keeping to original to what it was. Under the hood is its incredibly well know 3.8-liter turbo producing “245 horsepower and 355 ftlbs of torque in all original appearance. The under body of the vehicle is solid and rust free with no heavy undercoating on any of the components. This car is very original to its factory form with no modification to the driveline or the interior. On the interior you will see all the original cloth black and gray interiors with no rip's, tears or strange odors. Once sitting in the driver seat, you will look down at the factory analog cluster showing 80,016 miles which were all driven by the same owner and original to the vehicle. When looking up inside of the grand national you will notice the tinted transparent t-tops which accounted for less than 15% of the total production on the 87s. Looking down at the side of the vehicle you will notice no waves or ripples in the paint. This appreciating classic car will make an excellent addition to your garage.
