Here we have a very special car, this 1963 Corvette split-window finished in Riverside Red. The exterior of this car is perfect, with the emblems, chrome, and paint showing no imperfections. The same thing goes for the interior, finished in black vinyl. Everything works on the interior, including the optioned power windows. Turning to under the hood, it is powered by a 327 cu in V8 with fuel injection, making 360 horsepower, and paired to a four-speed manual transmission. As this is an early 1963 original fuel-injection car, it is one of only 2,610 made for 1963, making it a little rarer than your average Corvette. This car underwent a 10-year restoration from 1983 to 1993. Many of the original parts were kept, including the housing, transmission, and rear end. All of the exterior trim was kept and refinished. Most of the interior is original, minus the seat covers and carpet. Another thing to note about this car is that it has all the original flooring because it was not frame-off restored. The only big change on the car was the paint; it was gray, then repainted Riverside Red. Before we got the car, it was in a private collection from 1983 to 2013; it was then sold again in 2014 to Downing Chevrolet in Huntington Beach, CA.
