The Basil family is very pleased to present for sale this 1954 Buick Special. Currently, as a work in progress, we bought this car from a local gentleman who had too many projects and needed one gone to complete the rest. This car was completely torn down and started being put back together to its current state. The original chassis was swapped for an Artmorrison chassis to accommodate its new powertrain: a Mast Performance 6.2L LS3 V8 paired with a 4-speed 4L65E automatic transmission. Drilled and slotted front disc brakes have been added to help this car stop. The exterior of this car is finished, with all bodywork done and painted in Rootbeer Brown, with a Pearl roof. The car runs and drives with the new fuel pump we installed. We have mostly everything to complete this car, with plenty of parts, including the full interior that needs reupholstering. Our restoration shop will fully restore this car unless it goes to a new home before then. Come check out this project and a few others here at Basil Classics.
