Another beautiful Basil Classic... this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner showing 63,317 miles has been handpicked and meets Joe Basil's standards of excellence and tradition of fine automobiles since 1951.

Finished in factory-correct F8 Ivy Green Metallic with a black vinyl top, this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is a genuine survivor car and believed to be one of the last Hemi Road Runners produced in 1969 — a remarkable piece of Mopar history. This car is a true never-apart car, meaning it has never been disassembled or restored and retains its original character and patina throughout. The classic Road Runner script, "Coyote Duster" air cleaner decal, and factory redline tires all add to the authenticity of this well-preserved example. Under the hood is the legendary 426 Hemi, complete with its numbers-matching engine — an increasingly rare find in today's market. The original transmission was blown up during drag racing early in the car's life, which only adds to its documented history and character rather than detracting from its significance. This Road Runner has been thoroughly vetted, with Dave Wise certification in 2015 confirming its authenticity and originality. Many articles have been written about this vehicle in various magazines, further cementing its status as a well-known and significant example within the Mopar community. The car also carries its original miles, making it an exceptionally rare and desirable survivor. Inside, the tan bench seat interior is complemented by the correct Road Runner badge on the dash, factory gauges, and column shifter — all presenting with honest, original character consistent with a car that has never been apart. An exceptionally significant, well-documented Hemi Road Runner survivor — a true blue-chip piece of Mopar muscle car history for the serious collector.
