Purchased in 1969 from Glen Campbell Chevrolet in Williamsville New York, this Corvette has had only two owners, is fully documented and has been driven only 23,812 miles since new.
This highly optioned factory black coupe comes with its original dealer paperwork, tank sticker and protecto plate. Options include soft ray tinted glass, F41 suspension, with correct oil filled F41 shocks, 4:11 positraction, full transistor ignition, L71 435HP 427 engine, factory side exhaust, rally wheels, F70x15 white letter tires, power steering, front fender louver trim, headlight washers, AM/FM radio and a perfectly stunning black vinyl interior. This is the last of the three years that the three two barrel 435HP 427C.I. engine was offered in the corvette.
After ten years of ownership, the second owner decided to do a frame off restoration to NCRS standards. The no hit body and paint was completed by Corvettes and Performance in East Amherst NY which has been a leader in Corvette restorations for over 30 years.
The engine had been fitted with a dealer replacement block and now has a block identical to the original with correct date code, casting numbers and front pad stamping. The remaining components are all restored factory original parts.
After the restoration was completed, this Corvette earned the NCRS top flight award scoring 98.0 points and Bloomington Gold scoring 98.4 points.
