The Basil family is proud to showcase this beautiful 64' Malibu that is finished in its factory color of Ermine White complemented with tons of chrome on the trimming to the bumpers. This car started life as a 6-cylinder Super Sport and has since been converted with a GM crate 350 engine with a mild cam paired to a turbo 400 automatic transmission. The drivetrain is mated to a 10-bolt GM posi rear end. Other features this car has are Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, Pertronix distributor, stainless brakes, aluminum radiator, B&M shifter, AM/FM cassette, and dual exhaust. The original interior was Ivory with red trimming and has been changed to an all-red vinyl interior which shows beautifully. We acquired this car from a gentleman local to the Buffalo area who would take this Malibu to car shows and drive it on nice days and traded it for an El Camino, he had this car for a number of years and was ready to move onto another classic.
