Another beautiful Basil Classic... a 1967 Plymouth GTX with only 59,997 miles that has been handpicked and meets Joe Basil's standards of excellence and tradition of fine automobiles since 1951. This vehicle is one of a kind—one of the cleanest, best-maintained, showroom-condition GTXs you will find. Buy with confidence!
Another fine addition to the Basil Classics fleet is this beautiful 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX. This GTX is finished in a head-turning purple paint and shows no signs of significant damage, misalignment, or rot. Plymouth debuted the GTX for the 1967 model year. It was a performance version of the Belvedere, rode on the same body, and was named the Belvedere GTX. The GTX stands out as a real icon of the classic muscle car era and was marketed as a “Gentleman's Hot Rod”, offering both features of style and performance. This GTX is equipped with Mopar's “440 Commando” motor along with a 4-speed manual with a Hurst shifter. The 440 is tastefully fitted with Edelbrock aluminum heads, TTI headers, MSD spark ignition, MSD distributor, and diamond pistons, truly giving this beautiful car the recognition it deserves. The previous owner cut no corners with this car's suspension either, fitting QA1 front coilovers, US Cartool subframe connectors, torque boxes, a chassis stiffening kit, Cal tracs, and front and rear sway bars, truly giving this American muscle icon the comfortable, reinforced ride it deserves. The interior of this GTX really speaks for itself in quality. Fitted with white leather bucket seats and a rear bench seat, this interior is pristine and really shows how well this car has been cared for. Also added to the interior are a Momo steering wheel, a column-mounted tachometer, and oil pressure, water temperature, and amp meters to help the driver get more information on the car's condition and enhance the overall driving experience. The paint on this GTX is in fantastic shape, as is the chrome, showing no pitting or corrosion. This GTX is a turn-key classic car that's ready to go today.
